Some of you may see me in the game and accused me of modding or using click alot. Today somebody told me that i will be banned from the voltz server, thus i feel the need to take action.
Let me introduce myself, i am an old school player of this game
and recently came back to this game after a long period of retirement. I used to be godlike believe it or not and rivaled legendary players such as "livewire", "rambo"...(thats some of the names which i can remember which are not too old). (Sorry but most L-S are noobs, but respected as old fokes, wish they came back i really miss breaking their rules).
Others include pie flake and easy on me (as funny little noobs which i like and owned countless times)
and LUNA that kind girl who used to host her own server, wish i meet her again.
I can drum faster than anyone else while maintaining high accuracy on aiming, however now im rusty with my aiming but can still drum and develop my aim within the games. My point is that people should pay more respect to old players who do not use any sort of cheats but their own skills (there are just too much cocky players out there)
Im here to keep this dying game alive. If voltz was informed to ban me, i suggest people to reconsider, test me out 1v1 and see how i acheive my skills, im happy to demonstrate.
Drumming is wrong? or a bad thing?
Drumming with accuracy is a talent not a detriment.
Drumming is no more wrong than the baseball pitcher who can throw a 105 mile per hour ball. Everyone can't do it and do it with accuracy. So throw out the pitchers who can?
Bitch out someone who can drum a mouse in an online game? Doesn't make sense to me.
Of course in Red Faction it doesn't matter anymore since only 20 or 30 people play the game at any one time.
64 Servers as I type (mine are 2 of them) and 12 people playing. I would say those "drummers" are just ruining the game 'eh?
And Parker or whomever you are, Don't mean to burst your inflatable bed, but being decent or great in an online game warrants no respect. How could you think so? Get so damn good that you can compete on an International level with the worlds best online gamers, get yourself a sponsor, get some Television Time, earn a Six-Figure income playing games.....then post about getting respect.
I tell ya, If your looking for respect you wont find it in Red Faction. It's the game of haters.
u can see it as bug abusing. since im sure the developers of the game didnt mean the pistol to be able to shoot as fast as an MG (or faster in many cases)
I understand what you are typing about Shady. I really do.
If there had been an additional patch released by Volition, maybe that issue would have been addressed. But then I doubt it. The precision as well as the pistol were intended to fire at the simple rate of "One Click = One Shot". So apparently they DID intend those two weapons to fire at a rate equal to how rapid the mouse is clicked.
SOF2 weapons upon first release were so overpowered that the complaints were elevated to the point that the first patch resulted in the weapons being so "Nerfed" they seemed weak and grossly ineffective against an opponent.
Hence a third party guy developed a mod called "Rock Mod" (named after himself I presume) which restored the damage of the weapons to a more realistic level. In other words you didn't have to empty 2 clips of AK-47 into the enemy to "wound" him.
So I am pleased that there was not a re-do of the weapon fire rates or other issues with Red Faction.
Isn't there a server patch which makes the precision and pistol fire at a limited rate? IDK and, of course, it really doesn't matter anymore. Anymore than my original notion that a few rapid firing drumming players in the old game can't ruin or cause problems in a game that no one plays.
