I have downloaded that Xifre program, coz I heard its best for recording gameplay.

Now I wonder how to record with it, generally, I fully understand everything, when I start the game, i press hotkey and it starts to record.

Problem is, that xfire doesnt recognise Pure Faction as a game, it only finds Red Faction as installed game.

Does anyone know how to solve that issue ?

Run in window or stretch.

It says some error, cannot find direct3D visual 8 or something

it will come up dont worrie, video is bad, no sound it it lags every 5 seconds, thats why i wanted xfire, will make video soon
