I don't know that any of you have taken a look at this game or not but it's kickin'. We've (The OSS Clan) started delving into this one pretty hard and heavy of late and hopefully it will be the next major game we move into for a while.

BF2 still lingers somewhat among several members but most of us will probably take the Bad Company 2 game and run with it.
2.3 million units were sold at it's release and with literally hundreds and hundreds of servers up, it certainly looks to be promising.

It would be great to see some VOLTZ guys take it on.

I was playing BF:BC 2 only a few hours ago at a pop-culture expo at the city convention center. Its good. Really good.

But Word,
Xbox still sucks. Plus, PS3 is only $299 now. Think about it. In the long run you save money. You get a gaming system and a bluray player, and don't have to spend money to play online. $50 for like 6 months right? Something like that. After 2 years depending on which membership you've gotten, you've pretty much spent more on just online play then you have for the system, and for a PS3.

And I don't upgrade my system for games, I upgrade my system for my web/graphic programs.
I want a better graphics card just because it's nice to have one incase you need it.

you will need to upgrade the hardware and buy the game for PC. Unless you get a pirated version, which won't work online obviously. Buying a Xbox 360 isn't going to cost over 350$ the game for 50$ online for 70$. Depends on what hardware you upgrade, but won't it be cheaper?

Why buy all these expensive computer hardware when you could just nab a Xbox 360 and play online?

My computer currently sits with an AMD Athlon 64 x2 5400+ 2.8GHz, 3gigs of RAM, and about 1TB internal HD space, and 1TB external.
With the rebuild of it, though, I know have slightly better graphics. I have an XFX board with Nvidia GeForce 6200 256GFX ram.
Only had 128 before. So it's slightly better. My computer is more then capable of playing it, just with graphical lag.

I plan on upgrading the graphics when I can. Have alot of shit I'm paying money out on for, though. So I can't right now :O

I have a dual core i3 @ 2.93 ghz per core, 8 gigs of memory and currently using the Radeon HD 5750.
You can see my FPS from some of those screen shots in my opening post. In some game scenarios, it holds fairly steady at 150+ FPS. When the mortars and rockets begin flying around it's dips around 85 to 100. But that is perfectly playable however and doesn't affect the game play at all.
Nothing is clocked, just straight out of the box and everything runs unbelievably smooth.
And it a given, if you run any of the new Radeons you'll be looking at a 600watt Power Supply. So I added the 600w RocketFish to run the setup.

$350 give or take a few dollars, if you already have a dual core system, and you can have some game rockin Shiz....

yea, ive been waiting for this to come out on ps3. I defin. cant run it on my comp, i have played it before though on my cousins super fast computer from space, it is so fuckin sweet. All the stuff you can do...Its amazing, great game! When is it supposta come out for ps3?

My PC can't run that shit, at least, not until I get a new graphics card.
